I have a busy few weeks coming up, and I’m pretty excited.
On Saturday, May 11, I will be presenting at SQL Saturday #209 in Rochester, NY. That day, I will be presenting How Not to be a Cranky DBA and my newest session, What the VLF?
On Saturday, June 1, I will be presenting at SQL Saturday #200 in Philadelphia, PA. That day has me presenting What the VLF? again as well as another new session, Backup and Recovery for Beginners. The backup and recovery session was a happy accident. The organizer of the Philly event is a friend, and he had hole in the schedule. He asked if anyone would do a session on backup and recovery, so I jumped in. I don’t have a session prepared, but it’s something I want to have ready in the future. Since I have several weeks to develop it, it was a good idea.
